Terms of service

These terms govern the use of LancersTech (the "Service") provided by LancersTech ("we"). By creating an account you agree to them.
1. The Service
The Service lets businesses create an AI chat assistant that answers questions on their website using data they provide. Answers are generated by AI and may be incomplete or wrong; you are responsible for checking how your assistant is used and for the information you give it.
2. Accounts and plans
Accounts are activated after approval. Each plan has limits (bots, monthly messages, data size). When a limit is reached, the assistant stops answering until the next month or an upgrade. Fees, billing periods and renewal are agreed with us [DESCRIBE PAYMENT TERMS]. If a payment period ends without renewal, assistants keep working for a 3-day grace period and are then paused; your data is kept for [30] days.
3. Your content and responsibilities
- You must have the right to upload the content you provide and must not upload illegal content or other people's personal data without a legal basis.
- You must tell your website visitors that they are chatting with an AI assistant (the widget shows this notice) and cover the chat in your own privacy notice.
- If you use your own AI provider API key, you are responsible for that provider's terms and charges.
- You must not use the Service to harm, deceive or harass people, or to attack the Service or others.
4. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, during which assistants show an "unavailable" message.
5. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or are not paid.
